A fallen leaf from a sugar gum tree sinks into the day old snow following a sunny second day. The image was photographed at night under a daylight balanced light source, the lights of a parking lot in a park that I walk through dailiy enroute to my bus to and from the office. Now with the daylight savings time, when I get home it is dark but I still shoot along the way. copyright JimMendenhallPhotos.com 2013 December 10, 2013December 10, 2013 copyright JimMendenhallPhotos.com 2013. Pittsburgh, PA. Leaves catch in the pocket where lights are installed in the lawn around the Veterans of War Memorial in Mt. Lebanon at the Municipal Park. Since there is no grass above the light source, leaves blow into the indentation in the snow covered grass and remain into the night.
