  • 2013 Along the Way. Xml:flash and time exposure combined with camera movement in some and wind in others create an impressionist display. Exposures from 2.5 seconds to five seconds with flash under powered to register but not blow out the highlights. Light cyan/blue patches are from the overcast twilight sky. Hue Sat +55. in curves anchor 1/3 and 2/3rds but bump midpoint +18. dodge shadows 16% to open trails and dark areas. Now estimated bp to 35 and mp to 215 wp +10 or more. make selection leaving out top left corner and center top wave of blossooms (start selection just below them) to keep blue saturated. mp to 1.27 in histogram and wp to 197. In curves open 1/4 and 3/4 about 10%. then in hue sat increase sat +45. in histogram open mp to 1.25. dust n scratches radius 2 with threshold 10. make selection at 180 feather of small top right corner blossoms in front of bricks. Then in curves at mp open 20 and at 3/4 open 18 and 1/4 open about 5. wp up 10 and apply GB to flavor. burn 96 px inside the same top right flowers at 18% exposure. with dodge tool at 92 and highlights at 165 exp slide through the blue streaks at the to right a few times to taste.
